Subcontractor notification

According to currently applicable civil code regulations (art. 647¹) and public procurement law (art. 465), notifications of subcontractors to the investor are protected by the principle of joint liability of the investor along with the main contractor for payment of the subcontractor's remuneration. this same principle applies to further subcontractors (2nd and subsequent tiers). the notification requires compliance with several formal conditions, primarily alignment with the contract between the investor and the main contractor. importantly, the contract terms often protect subcontractors and support their interests.

• Securing payment from the main contractor and the investor after a successful subcontractor or further subcontractor notification
